Unity House were commissioned to create an online learning resource for the National Trust’s Dunham Massey property. This sought to inform room guides and volunteer rangers about best practice in a friendly, engaging way.
The ‘A Ma Puissance’ series covered a range of subjects from the practicalities of working in the 18th century sawmill to in-depth research into Dunham’s ‘lost years’. Where appropriate, specialists were brought in to give lectures and provide a historical context. The talks were captured in audio with a video introduction.
Through the work of its volunteers, Dunham Massey has become a flagship National Trust property and, in 2015, was nominated for the prestigious Art Fund Museum of the Year. ‘A Ma Puisance’ played an important part in supporting the volunteer team and equipping them with the right knowledge and skills.
“Unity House create very aesthetic films, which capture the moment and communicate very effectively. They have a good understanding of our brand, which is always echoed in the films produced. It’s a real pleasure involving Unity House in our work and I always look forward to seeing what they have created for us.”
